That is about all I have left I can try, Acoma, short a full reinstall and I lost all my disks when I moved ( I was in a rush, depressedn and unorganized, I have only myself to blame)

Given how long I've had this computer, though, going on a year, I am beginning to notice other things are not behaving as they should.

I was going to wait for windows 7 to give it a full wipe/ OS reinstall but I might just do it sooner if it doesn't behave.

You might check the EQforums because there have been alot of people having problems with the last patch and the UI change. Even if you did not use a custom UI it oculd still happen.

Could be a direct x thing and or your video card. Have you updated drivers for your card lately? If you did you may need to use an older driver to get it to work again. Have had that happen before as well.

After trying everything and a couple different things, I managed to get it back to where I got all the way back to the character select screen only to get this error:

Also, are you updated your graphics card driver recently?

I upgraded it when I first started getting the error, thinking that was the cause.

So far I've managed to get online.

Aparently even though my EQ plays in 1600 x 900 just fine if my monitor is set to 1600 x 900 it gives me errors.

I have to set my monitor resolution to 1280 x 768 and then log into EQ before it lets me play... even though EQ is playing in 1600 x 900.

Not sure why its got this bug, I tried going through and changing the .ini file to 1600 x 900 manually and all that but that just gave me errors over and over.

At this point I'm throwing my hands up in the air and going "Whatever, it works, good $*^#%^ enough!"

Well technically its not an assumption if I've said I can, then its more of a confirmation Razz

If there are raids Wednesday and Friday with it being so close to Thanksgiving I should be there, baring any major catastrophy.
