Well, I've been afk for the last thirteen months due to moving house to the middle of nowhere, a small town right out in the middle countryside in North Yorkshire, and have FINALLY managed to get my internet connection up and running
The EQ files are now downloading, unfortunately, It's going to take at least 120 hours for the download to complete, so I hope to be back in Norrath next Friday, I have tried yelling at the computer to make things happen a bit faster, threatening it with a bucket of water doesn't seem to work, so I guess I'll just have to wait
So, anyway, when I return, I have ten levels to catch up on, then I hope to be raiding with you all again

The levels go rather fast, so don't be too worried:-) You can start raiding with us again at 75 anyway, but, imho, you're better off Xping through to 80 given the power/survivability boost that comes with it...your call though.
On the plus side: The gear in SoF is fairly crazy and you'll catch up to us, gear wise, in no time once you start farming in SoF zones. Most of the loot is on par with CoA raid loot and is fairly common.

I plan on going straight for level 80, I expect to go through them pretty quickly, can always solo in RSS or somewhere between groups, I can solo RSS mobs now, so with level 71 pet and new pet healing spell at level 73, it should be fairly easy, especially if I can get the rampaging servant pet as well
How much do level 71-75 RK2 spells sell for in the bazaar at the moment?
Funnily enough, I have been looking at other peoples gear at eqplayers.com, and am amazed to see the number of mages level 75-80 who have lower stats/resists/mana/hps than I do, and my gear wasn't anything particularly special a year ago _________________ Beladonna A`tropine,

Well, I will be looking for the muzzle of mowcha spell and other mob dropped pet equipment spells, last I heard they were being sold for 200k-ish a year ago, though I may just bug other mages to summon for me until I hit 80 then go hunting for them, I'd like to know what the bazaar prices are for them now though if anyone knows? _________________ Beladonna A`tropine,

From what I read on the mage boards they do come equipped except for weapons, but mages still do have a summon armor spell (I guess to give to us beastlords). After this expansion they aren't supposed to be getting any more armor summon spells.
I know that pets were "naturally" summoned platemail equiped, I don't know if the higher level pets come equiped with the higher level armour with extra stats, shielding/dodge modifiers etc though.

When I get back, one of the first things I'll be trying to do will be to FINALLY get that damned ring off Ragewind, fancy giving me a hand with that Kala? I don't think I'll need to run anymore three group+ raids to take him down, then end up losing another twelve random rolls.....
I know there are better rings out there now for stats, it's the fire focus I'm after
