After some discussion we have set up allied raids with Gathered Might at 6pm PST (2 hours earlier than normal AH raids) on Fridays!

Gathered Might
GM have slightly larger attendance than us but appear to have a slightly lower overall equipment level. This complements AH extremely well as we have recently been high on gear but low on attendance. The aim of these raids will not be limited to progression, but rather a long term collaboration such that even when GM and AH have high enough numbers to fill up 54 person raids alone, we will still have eachother to come to for special events, Fabled and so forth.

Loots
The loot system for these raids has been very carefully produced to focus singularly on fairness. Basically we cranked out the numbers and worked out a rough 1:5 exchange rate of AH dkp to GM dkp. That means that everyone in the raid with dkp is allowed to bid on items - nothing will default or be won by one raid force over the other! An SL or equiv from GM will hold the auction of an item, and GM and AH members will all get to bid on the item. A bid of 5 AH dkp will be a bid of 25 GM dkp. Unlike our normal system, the bids will raise up slowly one after the other, much like car auctions. The winner of the item will be the raider who bids the highest amount. Tiers are not considered on these raids, and rot loot will go for free. To help the auctioneer, please include the currency you are rolling in - eg "I bid 5 AH DKP (25 GM dkp)". If you're confused about the system please do ask questions here, though it'll all become clear on the first night's raid.

DKP
DKP will be awarded normally - 1dkp for a first win, 0.6dkp for a second win, 0.3dkp for a farmed target, and 0.1dkp to turn up on time for the raid.

Targets
We are considering TSS, DK, and BMK raids for the immediate future, though we may aim higher depending on our results.

Yeah I'd love to do gnarlibramble some time too. Though I suspect the typical joint raid of 50-60 would be overkill for him. However it's still something we could do on a regular AH night when we have around 30.

We will be entering TSS at the next opportunity however!
