PoTime JOINT RAID Friday - 6:30 pst

Heyas,

We are teaming up with Immortal Malice next Friday at 6:30 pst for a PoTime raid. We are hoping this gives us enough to do PoTime completely, though dunno how it will go.

For loot we are going to take one piece for each organization to be held by its respective loot rules. The third piece will be lottoed initially and then will alternate (So if AH wins the third piece on the first mob, IM gets the the next one).

I'm not sure yet how we will work reserving any spaces as far as for our raiders who cannot get online later. Also in the works is who will lead, but prolly will be a joint effort.

We're still kinda working on it but will let you know.

I could be wrong, but I believe the time mobs only have 1 loot each, with the exception of quarm?

Either way, we can hash it out I'm sure.

If that is the case we will just alternate, deciding who goes first by /lotto again. Either way I think is fair.

Not sure if its 1 like it originally was, or if I thought I heared of them changing it to 3. Also, may I ask why we are doing a joint raid with them?

Because we can't field enough flagged people to do it ourselves and even with their help it will be a severe challenge.

BTW, I'm guessing that, between the two of us, we may have to bench some folks....members first then needed class if that's the case.

We will be teaming up because neither can do PoTime solo. So this way we can still do the content, *probably* win, and get some good lewtz for both.

The raid spots will be split down the middle. Half for them half for us.

We will be gathering in PoTime a in the channel ahim. We'll see how it goes. I got an email from their raid leader today saying that they have a fair amount lacking keys, but anyways we shall see how it goes.

Yeah the early time is going to be an issue for us but it was a compromise between our raid times and theirs. I figure AH will start out with few then bloom to many!

As far as bringing boxes, sure until we see if we need them or not.

I think that the next time we wish to team up with another raiding force for something more difficult then we can handle alone we need to work out a few more things in advance. For one thing the healing strat and also the use of chat channels.

It would also be a good thing to perhaps have a 'dry run' on a easier raid to work out kinks and snags in raid styles and leadership - something beyond just 'zerging' P1 thru P3.

Anyway it was an 'interesting' attempt.

Ardy....such the diplomat:-) That event was gayer than auldaen at a boy meets world convention!

As a side note, we should thank shieara for attempting it none-the-less...I know it was a huge PITA for her more than anyone else.

Also, I have a few things I'm trying to work out with some other guilds at a similar progression to ours but, thus far, I haven't had much success. However, I may be able to do something similar to what we did last night on some important event (maybe verg, daosheen, etc?). Hopefully, though, the combination won't be the second coming of the anti-christ like last night (bush being the first....yeah, I said it; deal:-).

Hey it was our best chance for PoTime so I took it. Lets not insult IM...they were doing their best just like we were. The Time mobs are just beyond our level right now. Maybe next year we will be able to take them (considering a new expansion should be out then).

i agree we really need to work out that ONE of us is running it and ONE of us is following.. the back and forth really really sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but if that is worked out in advance...
