Saying goodbye to a friend is never easy. While I didn't know coolkat as well as others, I liked him and know that he is sorely missed both online and off. If he can hear me now, I can only say thank you for caring to serve your country and making the ultimate sacrifice. You will always be a true hero in all of our hearts and minds. Rest in peace brother.

A true shame. I think I went on a few OMMs with him. We spoke in AH channel about the possiblity of SOE implementing some ingame method of remembering late players. It's probably futile, but /feedback and /petition are your tools to make this desire known.

I will always remember some of the funny charisma he brought to the lifes he touched in EQ. I can only imagine these same feelings were brought to many lives outside of the virtual world.

as i did not know cool cat as well as others i have grouped with him on sevral occassions and being as my son was in iraq i have a great feeling of pride for his unselfish acts heroism thankyou to his family and friends and i am truely sorry for your loss

Well Coolkat (Danpro) was a good friend of mine ingame and we started a friendship outside the game. He lived in Peoria Ill not far from St. Louis where I live. We talked a lot and group a bunch doing quests mainly for the SK he so loved. He will be sorely missed in our questing and the Earthen Guardians have paid their respects in kind.

On a lighter side of thing; today I had a guild mate tell me he looked for Coolkat on the KIA website and did not find his name there. So it is possible that we might not have totally lost our friend our companion. I will check back with them to find out more and this website he was looking at.

I gave it a look but i did not see anyone from the Navy there i dont know the whole story i am not sure if he died on the way to his deployment or when he got there i may have even been a medical death or acident he may not have been killed in action i will try and find out but anyhow no mater what happend he is still a hero i will miss him so much. i have cryed over this sad news alot Sad
