Aleax does a lot for the moderation of the site so it stand to reason he would be ahead of others. Not sure if it matters for being on the list or not.

It doesn't matter for anything. It is just a fun way of seeing who contributes to the site most. Being site admin, of course I am on the site all the friggen time and actively posting. I must hit AH site 10+ times a day minimum.
