|
|
I know that this is a burning question on many minds.
First of all, I am sure that we will farm Time for gear and keys so that everyone is flagged (or at least most) and we have gotten what we came for out of Time. Concurrently we will be working through GoD and continuing epics.
GoD is alot harder than PoP and we have to remember that when we go into the raids. Don't be a bunch of slackers until we wipe in the beginning....its disheartening and frustrating for everyone. We have to change our mind set (healers and tanks especially) and really focus to get through GoD raids. I think there is alot of gear that will upgrade most of us in GoD and I would like to see us all beefier and smarter before we head into more recent expansions like OOW and DoDH raids.
This week our idea (obviously subject to change without notice) is to do Time Wed and Thurs and Friday (for now) and then epics on Saturday. Please check the Time and the Place as it will give more details.
We would like to get through Time in 2 days and I think we can do it. This will free up one more day in the week so we can alternate in other mobs, loot targets, Ikkinz raids and DoDH raids. As Shieara stated, we won't always start Time on Wednesdays but if you can, be sure to be there on that day so you can get your Time Key thing.
Gratz to everyone and thanks to all who helped AH get this far. It is amazing to see how far we have come and even more exciting to see where we CAN go in the very near future. I have a feeling epic 2.0s are going to be a viable raid target sometime in the fairly near future

Tshara in the real nest zone, trick to pull, but 1 day timer, so will depend on how camped he is, but good loot

Tshara is still pretty much perma-farmed as far as I know.
Frantic Construct is pretty bad risk v. reward.
I'd have to look into the others. Monolith is bad because of the restriction on how many can attend. We'll see though. |

Good bracers are VERY difficult to find, so the loot from the construct may not be great, but it's hard to come by. A friend of mine (end-game mind you) farms monolith for alts and friends with one group, so it can't be that diffcult and the loot is quite nice.
BTW, we should add battlemaster rhorius (sp) to the list. Hits hard, but is fully slowable and the adds can be kited. Should be a fairly easy encounter for us. |

|
|
Seems we have a lot on our plate at the moment.
With Time 2 nights per week plus an Epic night plus GoD progression raids, I wonder if we might consider adding an additional raid night to work in these new loot targets.
Could be every week, maybe twice a month, maybe even just sort of irregularly. I know Shieara and Korinne are pretty swamped already, but if Culd or Sulsil or Vudu or me or another SL could lead such things from time to time.
What do you guys think? _________________

If people really are interested we'll start scheduling an extra raid for Sundays, starting next week. I'm not sure yet if it will be every Sunday or every other yet, or what. I will have to talk to Korinne and the squad leaders to see who is interested in doing it. If Sundays doesn't work we will try Mondays.
For your part, you all need to spread the word and make sure that the raids get some attendance. If we don't have enough to do anything (<30), I will stop scheduling them.
As far as Time goes, I think we are familiar enough with it now that we can begin starting an hour early, to help us get through in a reasonable amount of time. We will be taking a break from Time this upcoming week, but the following week we will try it. I don't know about you all but these late finishes are killing me. |

That sounds good to me. I would rather raid most of the time anyway at this point. Soloing isn't progressive or productive in this game at level 70 and grouping is becoming harder to do as the server population decreases again.
On top of that, Sony squashed the monster missions. They are just cobwebs now. I don't usually logon at all unless there is something special going on. _________________
